This subject at university was good. At first it was more dificult for me and now I know more things. I liked that this year we have more conversations and we practice speaking a little bit more. This is the more difficult part for me and for some other students.   I think the blogs was good because we used the blogs in the past but this year was the pandemic and everything changed, we have to be in our home so the clasess was doing online, so the blogs helped the online education and it was a good tool.  I like also that this year it was more flexible because everything was chaotic and we have to study a lot and the technology help us to do this.  Outside of the English class I see English everywhere. A lot of publicity is in English, also design pages online, or other things that I like, videogames and series that I watch are in English and sometimes it is difficult but I can understand most of what I see online. I don’t speak a lot because my friends speak Spanish but I think I can

Animation

 Hi everyone, today I'm going to speak about what is the job I would like to do in the future.  The job of my dreams is to be an animator, an animator is an artist who creates animations ,that is, visual sequences (or audiovisual sequences if they had sounds)  of multiples images that, if you succeed one after other with a speed, generates the illusion of having their own movement. An animator Isn’t necessarily a graphic designer, but the graphic design is a great tool for making animations, it helps me to reach this goal. Animation isn’t just cartoons or animated films, animation covers a lot of spaces, for example, gives movement to movie titles, or text on television, it’s present on the publicity or brand logos. Sometimes we can see animations in music videos and more.  I like having this job because I love illustration and I think giving them movement is giving life to a drawing, personality, emotions, etc.  Not only would I like to give movement to my illustrations, in genera

Avatar: The last Airbender

Today I will take the time to write why "Avatar: the last airbender" is my favorite show and will be until the end of history! I believe I am one of the lucky people who saw this series as a child on television.  I was a big fan! I loved the stories of these children traveling around the world, solving problems and going on adventures. Every time I could, I turned on the tv on the same channel at the same hour with the hope to found a new episode of the avatar. or one that I had already seen haha.   Definitely the avatar took a big space from my heart when i was a child.   But it really wasn't until 18/19 years old that I saw this show again. Coincidentally, it was the year I started studying in the university. The truth is, the first year of “u“ was very difficult for me emotionally, I wasn't used to dealing with stress and frustration. The music in my life

Hi everyone, To be honest, I am not a "musical person", what I mean is that I’m not one of those people who knows a lot about music like the records, members or names of the bands or songs, etc. I almost always listen to what spotify or youtube automatically recommends, thus, I know different music and I save the one I like the most. My list of music is so varied, that's why sometimes I find it hard to say what kind of music I like. Anyway, I have favorite bands or singers like Björk, Gorillaz, Incubus and “la brigida orquesta” and others but I don’t remember all of them at this moment.  I think my best discovery in music during this year and the previous one has been the musician Nujabes. I feel this is good music to do things and concentrate, it’s very relaxing but not how to make you sleep haha. it is good music to accompany life. A country i’d like to visit

Hello everyone, I don’t written on this blog for a while, but it’s fun to be back . Now, the mission I have for this week is writing about the country I'd like to visit. I have two places where I want to go. First, the most important place that I dream to go is Iceland. I don’t know exactly why I love this place but I think they have a magic energy surrounding it , it’s like a fairy contry. I know this remoted land because is where born and live one of my favorite musicians, called björk. When I knew that this country existed I started researching about the place and I fell in love. Iceland has a lot of landscape, a lot of nature. Some Glaciers, volcans and a lot of mountains. The most beauty think you can see is the boreal aurora in the autumn nights. In Iceland many scenes from movies and series of tv has been recorded, like Game of Thrones or The Witcher,  because this place has a lot of fantastic and incredible places. Post 8- A subject you enjoyed this semester.

This semester my favourite subject is Editorial Design. In the subject we learn how to make one book from 0. We see how to collate the paper, make diagram of books, choose the good size of the leter and fonts, and how the market of books is. I think the market of book is bad in Chile because the library receive a lot of money and the writer and the editor receive less money for their work. In the subject we have a project that is to make a book. I worked with a girl that is a writer and i make the illustations of the poems for the book. It was the best project because is a lot of work but is beautiful to have the final book in my hands, made with love and time. This is why editorial design was my favorite subject, I like to make things with my hands and create something that meaningful. I don't have a picture of the book yet, because i not finished it . Hope it is  wonderful!

Post 7- Career related website.

There are a lot of websites that can help me in my career but one of my favorites is pinterest. (Link to the website -> www.pinterest.com you can also download the app in your cellphone for a direct access). When you create an account in pinterest you will see many things, there are different themes that show you pictures related to the theme. You pick the ones that you like and the website show you pictures and suggestion related to your favorite pins. The website is very helpful because you can find a lot of references for ilustration or photoghaphy, color samples and options that help you develop ideas to illustrate. The bad thing about this website is that pinteres shows is the tendency of today and not what will it be like to learn how to use the tools it gives you to do or create something new and better. I know, probably my design teachers thinks "oh no, it's sooo basic" The site is a lot of fun but it's true is basic for inspiration and ideas, but i think t
